About Us

NTL Trust Limited (Nevis Trust or NTL) is the oldest trust company on the island, in the business of providing professional trustee, incorporation and international wealth management services since 1994, the year of the enactment of the Nevis International Exempt Trust Ordinance. Today we are located in the historic Henville Building in the centre of the Nevisian capital Charlestown.

NTL's founders spent some years investigating other jurisdictions before being attracted by the warmth of Nevis and its embryonic LLC ordinance that was introduced shortly afterwards in 1995. The innovative Nevis LLC ordinance is generally acknowledged to be the key factor that propelled Nevis to its current position as a key player for corporate services not just in the Caribbean region but worldwide.

Regulation and Licensing

NTL is licensed and regulated by the Nevis Island Administration, Ministry of Finance, Statistics and Economic Planning, Regulation and Supervision Department. It is also a member of the Nevis International Service Providers' Association (NISPA), a body dedicated to upholding the highest ethical standards and professional responsibility by means of its Code of Conduct. The quality of Nevis' financial services regulation has been consistently recognised at an international level.

Over the years business has developed and the level of financial services delivered from Nevis has become much more sophisticated. NTL has always sought the ongoing professional development of its employees through in-house and external training, most recently supporting the formation of the Nevis Chapter of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
