Vaccinated Travelers Can Come To The Bahamas Without a PCR Test

Great news for travelers who are going to visit the Bahamas. Now, after receiving the second dose of the vaccine, you do not need to do a PCR test.

This rule comes into force on May 1. However, in addition to the two doses taken, you will have to pass the two-week immunity period.

As for travelers who have not been fully vaccinated, they will need to get a negative RT-PCR test to enter the Bahamas.

Such actions, according to the Prime Minister, will help contain the infection of COVID-19. And what is important to note, numerous Family Islands have not recorded COVID-19 cases for several months.

This will go a long way towards helping the nation and its ability to contain COVID-19, the prime minister said.

In addition, Minnis announced that the curfew on mainland Abaco would be changed from 8:00 pm to 5:00 am to 10:00 pm to 5:00 am
