Saint Kitts and Nevis Opens Its Doors In July To Fully Vaccinated Cruise Passengers

With Seabourn company, the island nation of Saint Kitts and Nevis will host vaccinated cruise passengers in July. Each week, the Seabourn Odyssey will make a stop on the shores of St. Kitts as the country begins its phased reopening. According to plans, the full opening of the country will be in October 2021, when the population reaches herd immunity.

 

The two islands have already welcomed travelers since October 2020, but using stringent security measures and protocols to keep infections as low as possible.

 

According to statistics, Saint Kitts and Nevis is a country with only 44 cases of coronavirus infected.

 

"We look forward to welcoming Seabourn Odyssey to St. Kitts. The benefits of the cruise industry have been vital to the economies of St. Kitts & Nevis and we are delighted to welcome our first vessel back, as we begin our phased approach to resume cruise tourism," said Lindsay F.P. Grant, Minister of Tourism, Transport and Ports.
