How to Obtain a Residence Permit in The Gambia?

  1. The first step is to contact NTL Trust who will advise you on the basics, carry out a review of your documents and onboard you as a private client. Your NTL Trust representative will advise you on the procedures to follow and assist you with booking additional concierge services and will help you with application forms and driving licence.

  2. Your local NTL Trust office will forward scans of your documents ahead to The Gambia to make sure everything is pre-approved and set up an agenda for your visit.

  3. You will then need to visit The Gambia. You will be met in style at Banjul International Airport and transported to your hotel. There are several top-rated hotels in the area: we recommend amongst others Coco Ocean and Tamala Sunprime hotel.

  4. Plan on spending around 5 working days in The Gambia and you will be able to leave with your ID card, residence permit, Driver’s License and Tax ID number (TIN).
