Cabrits Kempinski Resort in Dominica wins World MICE Awards

The real estate sector of the Commonwealth of Dominica is increasingly asserting itself on the international stage. Cabrits Resort & Spa Kempinski Dominica has recently voted “Caribbean's Best New MICE Hotel” at the annual World MICE Awards (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions). In this hotel, you can not only relax but also buy real estate under the Citizenship by Investment program.

In addition to Kempinski, investors can invest in Hilton and Marriott or Secret Bay and Jungle Bay (boutique resorts) to participate in the Citizenship by Investment Program. If an investor does not want to invest in real estate, then the country offers a second investment option: a government fund.

According to the rules, first, candidates go through the due diligence procedure, and only then successful candidates can apply for citizenship.

“There is a very robust due diligence process because we have to ensure we protect ourselves as a nation. We also protect the applicant who is applying to become a citizen of Dominica and give [them] the assurance [that they are] applying to become a citizen of a country that respects international law," said Emmanuel Nanthan, Head of Dominica's CBI Unit during a recent webinar.

For the past four consecutive years, Dominica's Citizenship by Investment program has been named the best in the Financial Times' annual Professional Wealth Management Index. The program is effective, affordable, and the focus on due diligence is increased.

The main investor can add children over 18 years of age, parents, grandparents, siblings, and the family of the main applicant's spouse to their application.
