Saint Kitts and Nevis Is Set To Strengthen Its Citizenship by Investment Program in 2021

Last week, Prime Minister Dr the Hon. Timothy Harris announced that the program will be upgraded in the new year. The country's administration will do its best to continue to implement new proposals and strengthen the legislative framework to support the growth of the immigration investment industry, drawing on the skills, experience, networks, and other resources of its economic citizens.

The country has already made several changes this year. For example, in the summer, the government issued a time-limited proposal for an investment option in the Sustainable Growth Fund. The proposal now requires a family of four to contribute US$45,000 less.

Recently, another change was made, according to which siblings can be considered as dependents.

“For the next three years, we will continue to strengthen our programme, making it the continued leader in terms of its rigour, the robustness and the transparency," said the PM. "We will continue to be the global leader in innovation in response to market needs, most responsive and transparent in addressing our international obligations to our partner countries and the wider international community."

Saint Kitts and Nevis program has been in operation for decades and attracts more and more investors every year. The program was recognized as the "Platinum Standard" in the global investment market.

Upon payment of the appropriate financial contribution, investors and their families are granted citizenship and internationally reputable passports are issued, giving their holders visa-free access to 156 countries.
