Tier 1 UK visa applications are gaining momentum again. Thus, the third quarter compared to the second showed an increase of 317%. That is, 96 main applicants and 172 family members have received residence permits in the UK through this program. In total, the country received 192 million pounds from investors.

“At 9% of the total during the quarter, Americans were tied with Russians for third-place in the top applicant nationalities. As is the norm, Chinese applicants constituted the single-largest source of Tier 1 investors (24% of the total), closely followed by Hongkongers (21%)." - writes imidaily.

However, despite growth in the third quarter, overall numbers for 2020 still lag behind previous years.
